So we’ve arrived in beautiful Zomba, Malawi, a little town in the mountains of southern Malawi (nowhere near Lake Malawi, in other words). The area is GORGEOUS and we can’t stop marveling at the beauty of God’s creation! These mountains are different from North Carolina mountains. They’re more abrupt as they rise out of the valleys. They’re very rocky and many mountains are just huge rocks, like God scattered some stones.

This is the first time since Nicaragua, and only the second time of the Race so far, that Kiatera is “alone” as a small team, living and ministering together without others from the squad. We’re happy to be in our small family again! Here’s Kiatera on our way here:

We are living int the lovely house of Pastor Gama and his wife Rose. They have five (grown) children and several grandchildren, I can’t remember how many. Our ministry will be visiting many churches in the area to preach, share testimonies and the Gospel, and pray for people. We’re excited to be here to partner with Pastor Gama and HIM Ministries (we worked with them in Mozambique as well!). Until next time,  I leave you with a few of my favorite photos so far–they were all taken in the same spot but I was in love with it! I am already seeing photos everywhere I look, so I hope to capture a few and show you the beauty of Malawi and its people!  🙂

This last photo is dedicated to Ashley Johnson, for her love of crazy hats. Sorry I couldn’t buy it for you girl!
