Hello readers!

This should be the last update I send you from South Africa.
Some thing have changed and other things have not changed. One big thing that has changed is my team. For logistical reasons, all the teams changed. It was a difficult change for some and an exciting change for others. I was a little bit nervous because of all the build up, but i also trusted that God would put together the teams sovereignly. And I am quite happy with my new team
Candice remained my team leader, and Lena remained one of my teammates. I also gained Aline, Nicole, and Bethany. These ladies were already good friends of mine, so we instantly clicked as teammates. It doesn't feel like we are going back to square one with teams. We are picking up right where we left off.
Something that has not changed is our location.  We are still in South Africa because we are waiting for our India visas to go through. Our logistics team has been working on those visas for over a moth now, and we are all so ready for those visas to get approved.
In the meanwhile, God has provided a free place for us to stay and ministry to do while we wait. We will be camping on a church's property and partnering with their ministries. I am really excited about the move for multiple reasons. Mainly, it will result in much more quality time with my new teammates and other squadmates. There won't be Internet or shopping malls to distract us. We will all be sleeping right next to each other, whereas now we live in separate buildings. And i am excited to get serving again!
Speaking of serving, you really should check out this video describing our Unsung Heroes month. All of my teammates worked hard on it, but especially Paige and Megan. Vimeo.com/78844149
And in case I don't have Internet for a while, I want to wish you a Happy Thanksgiving, a Merry Christmas, and a Happy New Year!
Shalom!
Katie
PS If you want to be in prayer for us, pray for new teams to gel and for our route. Swaziland, Mozambique, India, and Turkey are all up in the air right now lol. Love y'all!
