Ok, so maybe it's not an official holiday, but it ought to be–every single day of the year (February 29th included)!

I'm leaving for the World Race in just 29 days (yikes!) and I have alot to be thankful for, namely:

  • The World Race—I expect it will radically transformme for the better.
  • My parents—I know it is hard for them to watch me go, but they never make it about them. They always focus on me and how they can help me get ready. They encourage and support me and help me when I’m feeling nervous or overwhelmed.
  • All my supporters—everyone who has shared pointers from their travels overseas, who are lending me gear for the year, who are praying for me, who are giving financially. . .
  • I get to see my brother and sister-in-law before I leave
  • I just barely have enough time to complete my Japanese Encephalitis vaccination series (I get the last shot the day before I leave!)

There are a lot more things that I am thankful for, but it’s time for you to stop reading my list and start writing yours! 😀

Blessings,
Katie

P.S. I love you Mom and Dad!
(and everybody else, but you guys already knew that)
