Dear Readers,

I want to close out my blogging for Nepal by telling you about my two favorite ministry days this month. Towards the end of the month, we got to participate in two New Light Nepal anti-trafficking outreaches. Each day, we went to a village to educate the people about sex trafficking and about the value of women and children.

The first day, I was not one of the designated speakers. I simply sat there and prayed. But there were dozens of kids sitting right there in the front row, and as I looked at them, I knew that they were the reason we were there that day. They were the ones we were there to protect.

The next day, we walked to another village to give our presentation, and Aline was slated to talk—the rest of us had no idea what to say. But after Aline spoke, the villagers earnestly requested all of us to speak. We looked at each other, unsure of what to say, but one-by-one, the Holy Spirit gave us words to speak. We talked about people’s worth as created by God, we thanked them for all we had learned from them, and we climaxed with the Gospel. After a month of feeling like our ministry wasn’t really making a difference, it was incredible to finish with these two days of ministry.

And that’s a wrap!

See you in Romania!
