The final month! This month we worked with Vision Nicaragua. In 1998 when Hurricane Mitch came and wiped out a good part of Nicaragua, Vision Nicaragua was formed in an effort to rebuild the town of Bethel. Almost 20 years later, building isn’t the main focus anymore but the relationships that have been forged are where the volunteers focus. We worked with a short term missions trip team doing regular missions. Help build a church, play with kids, do bible study, preach. When we weren’t with them, we did odd tasks like painting buildings. The staff at Vision Nicaragua is phenomenal. They truly made the month worth it. This is Mario, our driver and the absolute best!
