As this is my very first blog .. I have to post a WARNING message with it! I am not really sure what I am WARNING about yet BUT it is definitely needed!
My name is Katie Lynn LaRose, and I am the daughter of a King, and not just any King but the MOST HIGH KING. He knew me before I was born, molded me with His own two hands, and I am made perfect in His sacrifice.
Now only if my brain would stop doubting what my heart knows to be true, I would be in better shape!
I was born and grew up in a small city in Arizona named Yuma. God knew I needed a lot of love so He provided me with two families! I lived with my mom and my sister for the majority of the time and frequently visited my second home, which consisted of my dad my second mom and my two brothers (sometimes three brothers because my cousin lived with us on occasion).
I joined the United States Marine Corps in 2006 and traveled the world aka 12 countries (Kuwait, Iraq, Qatar, France, Germany, Netherlands, Czech Republic, Great Britain, South Korea, Kyrgyzstan, Afghanistan, and Japan) 1 US territory (Guam) and 1 Island most people have probably never heard of (Wake Island). I am currently still on active duty stationed in Oceanside, CA.
I <3 my earthly family but I thank God for my current community of U.S. Military brothers and sisters! No doubt God has placed them in my life and I in theirs. Most say PTSD is not curable BUT it is curable. The memories will remain but God is the one and mighty healer of all!
Spread the word our God is ALIVE and waiting to heal all pain if you would just accept Him and hand it over to Him.
28 Come to Me, all you who labor and are heavy laden, and I will give you rest. 29 Take My yoke upon you and learn from Me, for I am gentle and lowly in heart, and you will find rest for your souls. 30 For My yoke is easy and My burden is light.”
