Blogging?!? Isn’t that for college graduates? Who even reads those things anyway? Why would anyone care what I have to say? Definitely going to be the down side to the ever so mind-blowing and epic adventure of the World Race!!
Maybe these thoughts were driven by my great dislike to writing or the difficulty I have of putting my thoughts in sentences and paragraphs that are comprehendible by others. Or maybe I was just scared that I would write something and be judged, without being able to justify my words or explain in person with the realness of emotions. OR if we are being completely frank I am terrified of the frustration that trying to concentrate is going to cause me. (One of my symptoms from PTSD is difficulty concentrating and focusing)
Those ^^^^ were my real thoughts before I started going on the World Race website, before I got addicted to the blogs tab at the top of the webpage. I seriously could be considered a stalker! I hardly go a day without reading the most updated blogs from all the teams. Especially my U Squad!!
I have now realized that the blogging is not a punishment that the World Race faculty has endeared on the racers for pure evil pleasure; I was being selfish in my thinking. These blogs give life and a way of understanding. I have SO much to learn …. Let the blogging begin! God is great!! ![]()
Romans 5:1-5
Therefore, having been justified by faith, we have peace with God through our Lord Jesus Christ,2 through whom also we have access by faith into this grace in which we stand, and rejoice in hope of the glory of God. 3 And not only that, but we also glory in tribulations, knowing that tribulation produces perseverance; 4 and perseverance, character; and character, hope. 5 Now hope does not disappoint, because the love of God has been poured out in our hearts by the Holy Spirit who was given to us.
