There are several things I am very excited about sharing with ya’ll today:
1. I recently heard back from AIM and we came to the agreement that this is not the season for me to squad lead. This confirms the prayer that I’ve been asking God to “narrow my options and show me which path(s) to take.” Initially it was saddening to hear that I wasn’t called to “go” in this capacity at this time but the past week God has been showing me a lot that we’ve been walking in this year that he wants to continue to solidify in me before I embark out again. He has also been confirming how I really have been called as a missionary here in Cleveland for a season, a season of a few years in fact.
2. Now that that’s settled God confirmed that I will be staying in Cleveland longer than I had anticipated. I am currently applying to attend BSSM 2nd year starting in September and will then (Lord willing) participate in 3rd year during 2017-2018. I am also looking into continuing to pursue a Bachelors degree in Business next year with the end goal of starting up a non-profit and getting back to my beloved Asia! (But perhaps that’s looking too far ahead for the time being.)
3. God has been so faithful in this season of mystery and overcoming obstacles. This past month or 2 I have been battling a cycle of car troubles, accidents, injuries, and infections. It has not been the most fun season of my life but God has been showing me even more how every problem is an opportunity in disguise and how vital it is to face every situation with worship and thankfulness. It really makes a world of difference as I walk this path of healing and brining kingdom to earth.
4. Tomorrow I get my first paycheck working at Starbucks!!! It has been a journey and a half getting a job and I have learned SO MUCH in the process, especially about trust. Now I can pay the bills, eat, and give a tithe!!! (Which admittedly I’m the most excited about! I really value tithing and have honestly missed it this past year and a half between the Race and unemployment.)
5. The final exciting development for today is that I am participating in a stateside mission trip to California. BSSM Cleveland is partnering with BSSM Redding and dozens of ministries from across the globe to answer the Call of Azusa. I am not only excited to serve with the ministries there in April, but I am also excited for the promise and anointing I know we will be bringing back to Cleveland. Revival is in the air- I can practically taste it!!!
The cost is $1,100. I only have $650 left which is due this coming Sunday, March 20th. I would really appreciate it if ya’ll would prayerfully consider helping to send me. I am answering the call and I’m excited to see how God will continue to move in this area!!
