How to write an about me section… well, my name is Katie, I'm 23 ys old and I'm a 5th year Bachelor of Applied Science student at the University of Guelph. I'm majoring in Adult Development with a minor in Child and Family Studies with plans to continue on to my Masters in Social Work. I'm also taking Photography at Conestoga College. But, what's important right now is that I'm a girl about to embark on an amazing adventure. I'll be using this blog as a place for me to tell you all about my experiences preparing for and adventuring on the World Race. It will be a place for me to write about my excitement and fears, about fundraising, and about the challenges and growth I face in my walk with God along this journey. I've decided that I am going to be open, honest and vulnerable here in this public space. May be a tad crazy but my dad always said, crazy is more fun. 😉 I'll try my best to include lots of photos and videos to keep things interesting. So, enjoy!
