I’ve been home for almost four months! It’s hard to believe a year ago my team and I were preparing a Thanksgiving feast for my Peruvian host family!
To give you an update, I’m currently working as an aide at a physical therapy clinic and I’m applying for occupational therapy school for next fall. Overall, I feel pretty well adjusted back into life at home.

I definitely miss the spontaneity and uncertainty of the World Race lifestyle. And I miss the 24/7 community of people pushing me closer to the Lord, lifting me up, and calling me out on my crap. But, the scariest thing for me is sliding back in to life in America as if nothing happened last year.  How do I take all the experiences and lessons from last year and apply them to this life? How do I live out my passions and gifts even during this transition year? How can I better live a missionary lifestyle at home in Rockville, Maryland?
I don’t have all the answers to those questions, but…

I will be talking about my World Race journey TOMORROW, Sunday November 22nd!
Come see pictures and hear about my experiences in person. (Better late than never…)
