My name is Katie Hurley and I am 20 years old. I also respond to Kitty, Kit, Katherine, Kate, BTK, HLK, or whatever you want to call me (that’s what my friends and family do). I currently spend my mornings watching and teaching elementary schoolers, preschoolers and toddlers at a preschool that also provides before and after school care for elem students. I graduated high school in 2013 and have finished 2.5 years at community college. I love being outdoors year round but especially love spending the summer on my boat tubing with friends. You can find me during the week pretending like I fit in at the gym, and on weekends I’m almost always hanging out with my best friends or traveling anywhere possible.
My heart is one that deeply desires to serve people. God has called and chosen me as imperfect as I am to complete The World Race because he sees my potential and what I am capable of. In January 2017, I am launching on an 11 month missions trip to 11 countries. Simply put, I am just a girl that loves Jesus with everything she has and is saying yes to where He is leading me. I’m ready to trust Him and learn to love like Jesus loves.
