Tanzania, yes, oh sweet Tanzania how you taught me oh so much about stillness.
Last month was one of those 'seasons' in life where you expect to be incredibly busy and over
worked and just dead tired because, well, you just worked so darn hard saving lives and
fighting the darkness- yea, definitely not…serious stillness- it was no joke.

In Psalm 46:11 the Word (NLT) states, "Be still and know that I am God;" stillness is hard.  Society has made
business such a priority that when we ACTUALLY DO slow down, we feel that we are not being productive enough or
that we aren't doing enough but really I am finding I accomplish more and by sitting and just being one with God and
present with nature and my surroundings.

I learned so much cool stuff in the Bible during the month in Tanzania and once again the Lord revealed to me, He knows what's best and I love 'em even more now.  Kind
of like my earthly parents, they were always trying to protect me and i just wanted to rebel while I was growing up…
Mom and dad, thanks for all you've done for me – you're the best; miss you guys a lot.

Laura Ingalls Wilder once said, " I am beginning to learn that it is  the sweet, simple things of life which are the
real ones after all."

Blessings.Amen.
