We live on a ranch with two horses, chicken, a dog, and a lot of goats.

I practiced my knot tying skills on Liz…

We take the male goats out before milking the females… Just so there are no mistakes about who gets milked and who doesn’t. LOL

We milk the goats.

It smells funny…

The babies are cute… Four have been born since we arrived although I don’t think we had anything to do with it.

This is Nesa.  She is a feisty one who so far has kicked two of us as well as pooped on and eaten holes in my team leader’s sweatshirt… Yet somehow she has found a soft spot in my heart… The old cow.

Samuel was rejected by his momma when he was born so he is bottle fed… which means that whoever is holding that bottle in the morning is in fact his momma in his mind… I never planned on being the mother of a goat… I swear he looks more like his father than me.

The barn looking spick and span.

We spend the majority of our days filling in ditches, digging holes for fences posts, using power tools to build stuff, staining floors or various other demands of a ranch.

This the whole ranch where we get to live…

All for now through the eyes of a storyteller… 🙂
