Hellllooo All!! I know its been forever so here is a little update on my life!

   Ready… Set… Go!!

My sister Sarrah and I took an awesome roadtrip up to New England to visit her boyfriend and his family. We got to drive up to Concord, NH and spend time in God’s country. We hiked up Mount Moosilauke and spent a day on Lake Winnipesaukee ( say that three times fast!) After spending two days in New Hampshire we came back down to Boston. Sarrah and I successfully navigated the Boston public transportaion system and hung out downtown for lunch and some shopping. I also got to visit with my friend Ryan and catch up after not seeing him for 2 years!

I have been blessed with some great opportunties to spend time with fellow racers that live near by! It has been wonderful to be able to hang out with them and share with them reflections, anticipations and emotions that are going through our heads about life. We have been able to talk about how God moved us at training, how He is moving us right now and how He will move us on the race. It has been such a joy and comfort to spend time with them! I was able to have an awesome lunch and coffee date with Lindsay and then met Weston in Pittsburgh for lunch and shopping at REI. Ohh man needless to say good times were had by all!

My MOST AWESOME TWIN came down to Columbus Labor Day weekend to visit a friend and we got to spend some qualtiy time together! I cannot say enough about this incredible woman of God! She totally lifts me up and encourages me like no other! We had a great time eating Thurmans burgers, getting lost in C-bus, getting some awesome tats and just hanging out and sharing life with each other! I even got her to wear my Gonzo jersey! (Booo Badgers ahaha) God blessed me double this weekend through my Aunt Tan and Uncle Steve! They answered my prayers (go ahead and laugh) and offered me a ticket to the Ohio State home opener! Woo so I actually got to go to a game before I left! Super awesome! Added bouns was getting to spend time with my uncle and cousins before I leave!

Last but not least! I just spent last weekend visiting Bryan in Philadelphia! He has just moved out there to start his new job and I was more than pumped to get to see him and take him some things for his new apartment! This man is amazing and totally puts me at ease when it comes to all the stress and nervousness about getting everything done for the race. The weekend with him was just what I needed. I am so blessed that God was able to work through him and the time that we spent together. Its so nice to have this wonderful man of God around who has such an incredible heart! We had so much fun hanging out, going to the park, parading around Philly and living life in the ghetto (love it!)!

Take all those awesome times and mix in a little packing, moving, unpacking and going crazy trying to get everything done and that has been my life for the past month! This weekend my friend Jory (another fellow racer) will be making his FIRST trip up north to hang out in the country and see how things are really done!
