I feel like the men and I took off with
squad leadership… running! We dove straight into it and were given
a full plate. After those three days we traveled with the squad down
to Phnom Penh where they headed off in different directions for
ministry. Right now we have a team who remained in Siem Reap, a team
in a village about 2 hours outside of Phnom Penh, two teams working
in Phnom Penh and two teams that are traveling in and out of the city
to work in near by villages. I am with my old team (Jubilee) as they
travel out of the city to a different village each week. The first
week I ended up coming back into the city two days into the trip
because I got nasty sick (No worries my men Jory and Weston, New Song
and Andi and Sean took great care of me!) I am with them on their
second trip to a village about 2 hours outside of Phnom Penh. It has
been a great experience for me to travel with the team in this new
position. Its amazing to be here for Matthew (who has been called up
to be Jubilee’s team leader) and to encourage and empower him as he
grows in leadership.

I have enjoyed the time ministering
throughout the village and in nearby villages and was even privileged
enough to pray over a man and his family who came to Christ the
morning we went to his village. It was an awesome experience to be an
encouragement to him and his family by simply being present. We got
to pray over them, watch them burn their spirit houses (houses and
alters they keep in their homes that are used to worship and give
offerings to evil spirits, buddha and past ancestors) and cut off
their evil spirit belts and necklaces (belts and necklaces they
receive when they are young. Their parents create a necklace and take
it to a monk or teacher and it is blessed by the monk. They are
thought to contain an evil spirit teacher that walks with you your
entire life). It honestly brought tears to my eyes to pray over the
four children of their family knowing that they are the light and the joy
of Cambodia. God kept speaking to me that they were the Hope for
their nation! Ah I am so excited that this family gets to be a light
in their village and their children will rise up to be Kingdom
builders in Cambodia!

God is Good! He is Love! He is Moving!
