This year to save me from tears
I’ll give it to someone special…
Well the more and more I listened to this depressing Christmas song the more I thought . . .wow this Christmas I saved my heart for 45 other special women and men of God and I couldn’t have been happier! WHAT IS MY LIFE?! I just spent an incredible Christmas in Bangkok, Thailand! I mean come on people how awesome can it get?!
I thought I would share with all my awesome supporters a little about Christmas in Thailand. . .pictures included!
A few of my team mates and I spent Christmas eve at the Turtle Cafe sharing awesome Thai tea and Oreo smoothies. We ran into Tyson and Christina who happened to be so appropriately dressed in red and green so we totally took advantage of a Christmas photo by the tree. Many of us ended up staying up most of the night, sharing lots of laughs and lots of love. Of course I can’t forget being sung to sleep by little baby goats behind the building I am staying in.
Christmas morning I woke up early to spend some time with the Lord to celebrate Jesus’ birthday! My team enjoyed a lovely breakfast of waffles and came back to the YWAM base to exchange gifts. That night we headed to the mall which just to happens to be the biggest mall in all of Asia! Our whole squad had an awesome Christmas dinner at Outback Steakhouse! I got a cheese burger. . .delicious! I laughed and loved and sang Christmas songs throughout the restaurant with the other “foreigners”. After dinner we headed out the the Hard Rock Cafe where we listened and danced to an awesome Thai cover band! We ended the night with the most crazy taxi drive home. . .driving the opposite way in head on highway traffic included! Ahh I cannot believe my life and how in love I am with it!
