When I signed up for the World Race, I signed up for the travel and the ministry, for the opportunity to love people, to hold babies, to run around a dusty plot in Africa with masses of kids, to serve side by side with adults in multiple nations. Little did I know the ministry, although important, was just the glitz and glam, the shiny surface to something much deeper.

A depth with God that I never even fathomed possible, an intimate relationship which I never imagined He would, could or should have with a human such as myself.

With hands in the air I admit … the World Race got me! This 11 months was not just about the travel and the ministry.

It was a journey of self,
a discovery of my True Identity
                                    through Serving Others &
through Serving God and His Vision.

God broke my heart in many places throughout the 11 months. He broke it for a Pastor and his family in Guatemala who live solely on their Faith in God’s provision. He broke my heart for a woman in the bars of Chiang Mai, her story, her life and the beautiful person she was behind the makeup and clothes. My heart was broken for 21 adorable little children of God in Nigeria and the incredible staff raising them up to bring His Kingdom. He broke my heart for worship and revival in the city of Berlin and for the most inspiring and God loving family.

But of all these things God Broke My Heart the Deepest for a group or 40 something God fearing, fire breathing men and women.

He Broke my Heart for a Generation.

He lit the most beautiful, passionate fire in this heart.
One that burns with His love and desire to see a generation of men and women bring His Kingdom of Heaven to earth
.
He has inspired me to love them, prepare them, call out the greatness in each of them, seek the treasure in each of their hearts and launch them into their destiny.
God has dedicated my life to help raise up a generation who will put an end to injustice in the world, who will inspire and influence those in authority and power, who will stand up and be a voice for those who have none, who will LIVE as men and women of
character and honor
.

What does that look like?

It looks like…
preparing the way for those who are to come next.
releasing and imparting all that God has given me, all that I have received from Him. My blessings, favor, wisdom and love will be given just a freely to the next man or woman as it has been given to me.
spending hours, days, months, years with many, seeing into their hearts and speaking life and encouragement into their spirits.
making my ceiling the next person’s floor.
getting lower and serving more.
cultivating a safe environment for those men and women to walk, operate and live by the spirit.
releasing an atmosphere of creative expression through worship.
serving and partnering with the vision of the World Race.

And ALL of these things I get to do In My Next Steps

More to come this week!
