I learned so much about the Fathers heart this month. The Lord used our contact, Tony, in huge ways to open my eyes to his very heart. How he lives his life WILL echo in eternity, The aroma of his his worship is spilled on everyone he meets. The Lord continued to speak, Katie look at what he is doing for my name. As the Lord spoke, I started to watch how he lived and I started to see the depth of our Fathers love. He loves relentlessly and unconditional. These boys do not have to earn his love. His love is freely given all the time. It remains unchanging even after he has been rejected. He understands grace and lives by it. I see it in how he disciplines the boys out of love. I see it in how his heart aches for complete restoration for these boys. He fights for their hearts to be set free.
The Lord has awakened my heart to His love. Once you encounter His love you will forever be changed. I am so overwhelmed by His love. He loves us because He loves us because He is love. There is nothing we could do to make our God love us any less. There is also nothing we could do to make Him love us anymore. His love pursues and fights for our hearts. I have been wrecked by our Fathers love. His love is so good, so right, so perfect. Thank you for your love God. Thank you for who you are. You are so faithful. Thank you for overwhelming me each day, with your love and grace. Thank you that your mercies are new every morning. Thank you for your relenless pursuit of my heart. Thank you for never giving up on me. Even through the rejection you never close your arms to me. Thank you for your promise to NEVER leave me. Thank you that nothing can separate me from your love. I cant grasp the depths of your love but I want to drown in it. Thank you for fighting for my heart. Thank you for fighting for the desires of my heart. Thank you that your love keeps no record of my wrongs. Thank you that your love is transforming. Lord transform my love to be a reflection of yours.

Update on Christofer…he made it through the entrire month free from his addication!!!! Gods hand is a hand of freedom. Honestly our team did nothing this month. That is exactly how the Lord wants it. He wants us to stop trying and allow Him to move in and do it all. It is then when HIS name is made much of, not ours. A couple days before we left the farm, Christofer told Tony that he wanted to stay and live with him. That he wanted to go back to school and take piano lessons. He said I cant go back to who I was. I want to stay here, I cant go back. Once you encounter the love of our Father you are forever changed.
