Pagsanjan Falls!!

Yesterday my team (KARIS) joined with team DUNAMIS to go on an EXTREME adventure down the Pagsanjan Falls here in the Philippines! It is located about two hours south of Manila (where we are staying). So we loaded up the van and left at 5 am.

The boats above are what we rode in down the river’ish’ water way. The men worked very hard and let us know that they were tired by their HARD grunting everytime they pulled us up the rocky areas of the water way.

These are the small wooden vessels that took us under the waterfall…Yes it was totally submerged. BUT we made it there safely!!
 
 
We were blessed on our day off with AN AMAZING beautiful ADVENTURE!!
 
I am having an amazing time here in the Philippines!! The people here are amazing 🙂 Soooo loving and welcoming! Our team has made some AMAZING relationships with the people here. I know this is where I am supposed to be. Everyday I step out of the gates here I am surrounded by children saying “ate (pronounced aa-thay) KATIE (which means older sister) and I get 100 hugs and kisses from the most amazing and loving children EVER 🙂 And give LOTS AND LOTS of LOVE in return!
