This is a Blog that I had written at training camp… but I just now got my blog spot to share my trip with family and friends!!
MY heart is finally free!! Free from frustration, free from pain, free from the past. Last night we had a new speaker here at training camp. We were introduced to our coaches that will be along side us for the next 11 months: Gary & Lisa Black. What an amazing couple! So in love with each other and an amazing/ contagious passion for the Lord. While Gary spoke to us last night and it was as if there was a feeling of peace that came over me! I was really very intrigued by the way Gary spoke. Maybe not even what he spoke on (which was the 3 steps of baptism) which was very interesting & insightful, don’t get me wrong. But Gary just had a presence about him. I enjoyed watching him speak with such PASSION. As the talk was coming to a close Gary was praying & asked us to rise up our hands if we wanted prayer from the Holy Spirit. Now I am NOT the kind to go out of my way for attention, but last night I was really feeling the need for this. All night I had been thinking about how cool it would be to be touched tonight- even if it were a word from someone, to confirm Gods presence in my heart. A woman came up behind me and started to put her hands on my shoulders very lightly. Then Gary came over as I was praying ad he touched my forehead and said “wow”, I feel something special in you… I am sensing the gift of vision, but not just visions, more of a passion for art. I see you going into villages & communities and touching the kids and grandmothers with your art. Maybe depictions of what you see in these visions, bringing a sense of HOPE & JOY for the people in these remote areas.” I could not believe what I was hearing!! For those of you who don’t know my major in College was Art History & Studio Art. Art is my passion, people of other cultures are my passion, my HEART. The ability for him to pick me out of the crowd, out of 60 plus people in the room and nail me like that just shows you how HUGE the Lord is and the power He has to appoint people in your life to prophesy over you- it just amazes me on soooo many levels. I am SO exited to put this gifting to work & show the cultures my passion for them & my LOVE for the NATIONS!!
