Welcome to the World Race! Training camp is our first taste of what life may be like on the race, and I finally got to meet the people I will be spending almost a year of my life with. So here it comes…

Get Ready World…

V-Squad is on the map!!!

We’re V-Squad, or V-Unit, which I think is going to be synonymous with Victory Squad because God is going to use us to do AWESOME things! My squad is amazing; we’re such a diverse group of people, yet already vwe are a family. We work well together, we accept each other, and we love each other. Definitely one unit.

Training camp has been great. So busy, constantly doing one thing or another, but the presence of the Lord is so strong and everything happening here is for Him and His Glory. God is working in all of our lives in huge ways as we prepare to go out into the world in January.

If I were to give advice to a future racer about what to expect at training camp, I would say to come with zero expectations and a wide open heart. Oh, and bring warm clothing. It may be warm in the day, but at this time of year, its freezing at night!
