And round and round and round! Who knew that travel between
Ecuador and Peru, two countries that are right next to each other, could take
so long!!!
We left our hostels in Quito, Ecuador at 8pm on Sunday,
March 6, and arrived in Trajillo, Peru, at 10am on Tuesday March 8. Here is the

What kept us amused in that 1 hour and 10 minutes: We gathered in a
crowd to watch Denise take a bite of a giant beetle. This thing was the almost
the size of the palm of my hand, and it took her several tries to be able to
bite through it.
Number of people who threw up because of Denise`s snack: 3

Transportation: 5 (coach bus, back of a truck, walking, small bus, taxi)

Stolen: 3 (2 daypacks, and my pillow)

Things were Thrown at us: 4 (3 water balloons/water blasters and 1
egg…apparently that`s what happens during carnival)
