Happy Mother’s Day!!!

Today I have five very special women I would like to honor.

Nonnie, on the left, is my mom’s mom. She is less than five feet tall and is an awesome lady. Her stories about living a life of faith was a huge inspiration for me to take the leap and actually come on this trip. On the right is Nana, my dad’s mom. She lives in England so I don’t see her very often, but I love her so much.

These two ladies are Kim and Wendy. Technically, we’re not related, but I call them my “other mothers”. Our three families are so close that we’ve combined our last names into one and have called ourselves the Gernuttson family for more than a decade. Kim and Wendy, thank you so much for your love and support over the years. From watermelons as birthday presents to parasailing in Mexico, I love the family memories!

And of course, my mom!
My mom is the best mom a girl could ask for; she is my best friend. I can talk to her about anything, and I know she will always support me in whatever I choose to do with my life. But she is also a competitive board gamer, loves to fish and camp, and loves adventures. Mom, I miss our dining room floor conversations, beating you at games, and making you laugh.

To all five women, thank you all for touching my life over the years. I miss you all, and love you even more.

Happy Mother’s Day!!!
