I know its already been a while since Training Camp, but I would like to introduce you all to my team. So, without further ado…Introducing …Team Delieverance!!!

This is my team that I will be starting the race with, and I am so excited.
The day that teams were announced we were sent out to go make a memory. We ended up at a popcorn shop, Popcorn Haven, which is recently opened and is run by Christians. We hung out with them for a while, tried many of their 250 flavours of popcorn, and got a chance to talk with them about our trip. In talking to the owner, we found out that he felt that opening a popcorn shop was his calling from God, and since following his calling, he has had so many God-moments and so many opportunities to share Jesus with customers. My conclusion from this encounter: God loves his people, and He loves popcorn too!

Later in the week our team went out for our ministry day. Our instructions for the day were simply to go do ministry. So off we went and wound up in downtown Cartersville. The ministry day itself is a story for another day, but it was a great opportunity to bond with my new team. We ended up having lunch at Gumbo to Geux, and sitting and talking for a long time. Our team is strong, and I think we’re going to work well together. I can’t wait to get to know them all so much better because the more I get to know them, the more I admire them and the more excited I get to be able to share this adventure with them. Already I am blown away by their faith, and I can’t wait to see what He has in store for all of us this year.
