In these first few days we have been here, we have been to cell groups, prayed at a hospital, and today we did door-to-door evangelism. Everyone we have met that is a Christian is so full of hope, and there is no question that they believe in the power of God. They pray for miracles and expect them to happen. The non-Christians here, which mainly consists of Muslims, are not as receptive to us praying for them, but they are still just as hospitable and kind. A few of them have been open to hearing about Jesus and have even invited us back to talk with them again. But back to the main topic of my blog, I love Kenya!! It is the most gorgeous country I have ever been in. The colors are beautiful. The sky is so blue and the plants and everything around is super green. It rains a couple times a day, but only for about 3 minutes each time. The temperature is in about the mid-80’s, so it is about 20 degress cooler than Thailand, but still warm enough for T-shirts and shorts. My team gives me a hard time because I have said this about every place we have been, but I could totally live here. I actually think it would be pretty cool to live in a place that is this full of life, even if I am living in a mud hut, using an out-house and taking bucket showers. J
