Our travel day started on Friday Morning at 10am
and ended on Monday at noon…
in total it was about 98 hours of traveling.
In case you are wondering, this is what 98 hours of traveling consists of:
Friday morning at 10am we left our launch location in Gainsville, Georgia
and headed to downtown Atlanta for the rest of the day/night.
Saturday morning we got up at 4:40am and headed to the Atlanta airport.
We boarded our plane and headed to JFK for a 11 hour layover.
Due to it being the day before the 10 year anniversity of September 11th, security in the airport and city was crazy… so we spent all 11 hours in the airport.
We boarded our next flight to Warsaw, Poland and left at 11pm Saturday evening.
Sunday we arrived in Warsaw, Poland at 1pm local time (7am in America) with a 9 hour layover.
After going through customs & trying to figure out if we needed to collect our luggage, we headed out to town.
We spent around 5 hours wandering around Warsaw and marveling in the beauty of the city.
We met back up in the airport and hung out until our plane departure at 11:00pm.

Monday we entered Romania at 1am with a surprise greeting from the X squad, who were just on their way out of Romania and on to India… I recieved a lot of encouragement, insight, & advice.
We camped out in the airport for the night with X squad and attempted to sleep on the floor until we could catch our bus.
We boarded a bus to the train station. Got our train tickets & boarded the train at 9:45am.
