Highlights of Uganda:
1) Hospital Ministry : One day a week we would go visit local hospitals and talk/pray with patients. I got to see a lot of healing happen during this ministry, including watching our friend William go from being immobile for 3 weeks (I am talking like completely stiff and laying flat) to sitting up and walking with assistance within 24 hours. Our God is a healer.

(William is the one of the left, his brother Samuel, & family friend)
2) Running Club
Motto : “Keeping the school kids healthy one morning at a time.”
Every morning I ran through the hills of Uganda. As I would run back towards town the school children would join me. Any given day I could have between 1 and 20 students running with me.

(My most consistent running friends)
3) Our Ministry Contacts.
They were seriously the best contacts any of my teams have had so far on the race. They were super relaxed and hospitable. Their home felt like our home within the first 3 days. We were adopted into their family and given the honor to plant remembrance trees at their home, something that only their biological children have done. I love them so much!

Oh, and Uganda has stunning sunrises.
