For our ATL [ask the lord] month of the race we ended up in
Vietnam.
Our squad didn’t actually get to ask the lord about the
location of this month,
but we will be doing a lot of asking the lord in regards to
ministry.
As I write this I am sitting, or laying if you will, on our
“sleeper” bus on the way to our ministry location of Da Nang, Vietnam.
[Sleeper bus = bunk beds on a coach bus… its pretty fun. I
have an Asian sleeping on top of me and one of my old teammates across the 1
foot isle]
From my understanding at this point, we will have a lot of
flexibility in what our ministry will actually look like this month. There will
probably have some scheduled things, but the rest of the time we get to ask the
lord and go where he leads.
This means, I could be hanging out and making friends at a
coffee shop.
Or loving on the street kids that sell stuff.
Or conversing with tourists at the local bars.

(the kids here are so cute)
I am so excited for this month and what all Jesus has in
store for us.
I am really looking forward to how relational our ministry
is going to be.
I will try my best to share stories with you of the ways the
Lord shows up this month.
Join us in praying for our ministry this month.
– Pray for us to be attentive to his voice.
– Pray that we will walk in boldness, saying and doing what
the Lord tells us.
– Pray for unity over our team and pack (what we call it
when two teams are together).
– Pray for strength and endurance; it’s month 10 and we are
feeling the exhaustion of the length of time we have been on the field.

(obsession of the month : avocado smoothies. i know it sounds weird but they are so good)
