Our contact this month is hilarious.
As a way of “sticking it to the man” he put the incorrect birthdate on his passport.
The government and anyone viewing his passport think that he is 4 years younger than he really is.
Only in Africa/Rwanda…
Continuing with
photo-a-day Rwanda
Day 14
The local water pump; a busy place for people who
dont’ have running water.
Day 15
Kigali Genocide Memorial
This is a mass grave which holds some of the 250,000 that are buried there.
Wall of Names; listing the 1 million
who died during the genocide.
Day 16
During evangelism, these 3 people gave
their lives to the Lord. Praise God!
Day 17
There is a magical place in Kigali,
called the African Bagel Company.
They not only have great American food,
but work with women who survived the genocide.
Day 18
I got to go visit a special needs
orphanage for the day
Hung out with this lil cutie during the afternoon.
They were beautiful reminders of what it means
to be joyful.
**** I still have $2,020 to raise
by March 1st
(that’s only 5 days away)
or else I will be sent home to USA.
Want to be a small part in making sure I stay out here?
(Really, I am not asking much)
