Last week we hit it hard—like short-term mission trip hard. We did 8-ish hours of manual labor during then day followed by a 2-3 hour home visit, and 1-3 hour team time every day. There was no chance to breathe and our team leaders were afraid we’d kill each other with machetes if that went on too long.

So this week we planned a tourist day and went to San Juan where all of the cruise ships come into Puerto Rico. We toured El Morro, a castle used to protect the port beginning in 1493.

Here’s a little vlog.

Oh, and don’t worry, I was super far away from the edge—like three feet. I’ve stood on more dangerous things during ministry. Just saying.

We’re doing something different for ministry this upcoming week. But in typical World Race-style, we don’t know exactly what that means…

So until next time—which may be in the Dominican Republic in February.

Blessings,

Katie
