If you’re following along on Twitter, you saw that my first World Race deadline was Saturday.
You also saw that I made it! This means of the $13,500 I need to raise for my 11-month mission trip, $3,000 of it is already here.
I praise that Lord for that and I’m thankful for every single dollar that’s come in. I just squeaked over the deadline so literally every dollar has mattered.
If you’re following along on Instagram, you saw my teaser about a mysterious box that appeared on my front porch on Friday afternoon.
It contains t-shirts!
Part of my plan to raise the remaining $10,000 includes the sale of some beautiful t-shirts designed by Fund the Nations (Anvil brand).
Shirts are $20 each. If you’re not local, throwing in a $5 for shipping is very appreciated.
The more I sell, the more I make per shirt so buy one for your sister, your son, your third cousin, your ex-boyfriend…
Shoot me an email (KatieAxelson[at]gmail[dot]com) and we’ll work out the details.
BONUS
I’d love to see this shirt go around the world. After all, it’s a World Race shirt.
You live in a different place than I do (even if that place is the other side of my same duplex). You visit different places. You talk to different people. You do different things.
I think it’d be cool to take my shirt along on some of those adventures and photograph where it goes. If you send me a picture of you wearing your shirt, I’ll feature it here on my World Race blog.
Reality is, it’s not where we take my shirt.
Each one of us is carrying the kingdom within us. It’s about where we let Him shine through us.
That’s why we go anywhere.
