I put a mesh bag full of two-weeks worth of laundry on the sink already heaping full of mesh bags from my squadmates.
I couldn’t help but laugh as I made eye contact with the two women in charge of hand-washing this heap.
“There’s a mountain of laundry!” I said.
They laughed too. “No problem. No problem.”
At first I felt bad. After all, they will literally be washing clothes all day. I could easily wait for them to be done and use the sink to wash my own clothes. I’m not above hand washing my own clothes.
