We are nearing the end of another World Race Training Camp down here in Georgia, and it has been an awesome week! We have 240 participants here having their lives and their relationships with Jesus transformed. There are people receiving emotional and spiritual healing from brokenness in their past. There are people who have received physical healing from ailments that have plagued them for years in some cases.
And it all just seems…normal.
Sometimes I forget that this isn’t normal. It’s so easy to get used to God doing great things, and seeing people get set free that it just seems like not that big of a deal. I forget to stop and celebrate. I forget that it’s not normal. And I just start thinking about what we can do better next time, or what teaching/event/camp/meal (that’s embarrassing) is next.
So I just want to stop right now and say it. God is AMAZING! He is changing lives daily! There are awesome things going on here in Gainesville and around the world. And it’s humbling and incredible and exciting that he has chosen us to be a part of it. We get to jump in the middle of what He is doing and get involved.
I couldn’t ask for anything better!
Oh, and Katie is due with our second baby tomorrow!
