First off, I would love to thank those who have donated and encouraged me through this process! It means so much to me!

What is the World Race?
The World Race is a long term missions trip. The World Race Gap Year, that I am doing, is 9 months long, going to 5 different countries ministering to those in need. It is through Adventures in Missions, which coordinates a bunch of short term missions trips as well as The World Race program.
Where are you going?
I will be going on Adventures in Missions’ first ever 5 in 9, World Race Gap Year trip to:
- Costa Rica (1 month)
- Nicaragua (1 month)
- Nepal (2 months)
- Ethiopia (2 months)
- Philippines (3 months)
What are you doing?
I will be leaving in September, we have not been told specifically what we will be doing yet. But our ministry can be anything from; teaching English classes, construction work, leading VBS, evangelizing, ministering those who are forced into prostitution, but mostly just being the hands and feet of God.
Anything else I need to know?
Yes! I do have financial deadlines I need to make.
- $5,000 total raised by July 7th
- $10,000 total by August 19th
- All of it ($14,805) funded by December 31st (when I will actually be on the race)
It does take a while (7-10 days) for it to be processed, so if you are trying to hit a specific deadline please keep that in mind.
I am hoping to have all the money raised before I leave! So if you would like to donate please do not hesitate! I am still selling bracelets from Threads of Hope, half of the proceeds go to me and the other half goes to the people in poverty making the bracelets in the Philippines!
Another announcement is that I have been starting to sell T-shirts to raise money! They are $25 each! It is in a muted red with a pocket on the front that says The World Race, and has the verse Ephesians 3:20 on the back. Please contact me if you would like to know more or buy a shirt! I am trying to have them ordered by the end of April!
