Things you like to do for fun: Dance! Zumba, laugh with friends, football, live sports, find new music, meet new people, travel, learn/fun classes, cooking, exploring
Something you cannot go a day without: Meditation, prayer, coffee
What is the last spontaneous thing you did? Rode divy bikes around Chicago for over 12 hours, exploring with friends!

Yep! Small indigenous town in Guatemala (San Miguel Chicaj) April ‘ 09

What is the most prized possession in your backpack?
I still have to get my pack!! But it will probably be my journal, hammock, and mascara.
What are you going to miss the most?
My family and friends. And my dog. That’s probably obvious. Other than that, my phone and my closet.
One thing you have to take with you?
My laptop and iPod. And head scarves!
What are you most excited to experience on the race?
Life in community with other like-minded young people, living authentically in my identity in Christ, being in new, out-of-my-comfort-zone situations. Meeting international peplos & learning about different cultures! Being with kids. Learning. Journaling. Warm weather!!
What are you most nervous to experience on the race?
Facing parts of myself that I am unaware of or that I don’t want to deal with. Failing others. Coming home. Miscommunicating. Fatigue or worry.
What country are you most excited about serving in?
Latin America of course! (Honduras, Nicaragua, Costa Rica). and Thailand
What ministry excites you the most to experience on the race?
Teaching English, working with and empowering women, working with kids! Translating English/Spanish.
What nonessential item do you want to bring in your pack?
Make up, hair products, head scarves, hammock & music!
