Heyo from an airport in Colombia. Plans have changed as quickly as a burnt cinnamon roll. A couple of mornings ago my team thought we were in the clear, but by the end of the day we received the tough news that we are no longer staying in South America. God is calling us, and every other WR team, back to the states. I will land in Georgia on Monday, March 16th (aka today). I’ll be staying with my team (minus Murn who stayed in Colombia [!!!], and Lia who flew home from Miami) in downtown ATL until Wednesday the 18th.

Please take a moment to realize how incredible this opportunity is. God is calling us back to the United States in a time of crisis. We’ve heard how things are going back home.. Predominantly the lack of toilet paper and germX… and now we get to come home and bring a wave of fresh air throughout the country.

With our trip being cut short by 138 days, my teammates and I are restless. We aren’t mentality prepared to leave each other or jump back into the flow of life in America. But hey sometimes this is what a life with Jesus is like.. just leaping into uncertainty and uncomfortableness in order to glorify Him.

I for one, do not feel content returning to the states, saying adios to my amigos, and going on my own way. God has placed a burning desire within me to hit the road with teammates and glorify the kingdom. Ideally we’ll be traveling from Florida (dropping off a teammate in JAX) and finishing north, either PA or NH. Some rad scripture speaking to me is Proverbs 16:1-3 which says, “to humans belong the plans of the heart, but from the Lord comes the proper answer of the tongue. All a person’s ways seem pure to them, but motives are weighed by the Lord. Commit to the Lord whatever you do, and he will establish your plans.” We have been praying over this, and will continue through Wednesday for the Lord to establish our steps.

We would love for you to join us in prayer through this transitional time from ministry with an organization, to unscripted ministry among the states. Specifically we are praying over the safety of others, ministries we can serve, places to stay, and the specific roads God wants us on.

Much love and see you soon, Kathryn
