The World Race is coming to a close in just two short weeks. I was thinking back through all the ministries, all the moments, and though there’s no good way to sum up this incredible year, here’s a glimpse at all the memories…

The Holy Spirit literally giving me Spanish vocabulary to talk to and encourage Sondra, a Venezuelan woman sitting next to me on the bus

Having “girl’s night” but praying with Lana, our Venezuelan waitress, then buying burgers for two awesome street kids

Hanging out with Tom and Dora at a weird play (taught me to say “yes” to the odd things)

God blessing us with kids to feed outside of the Red Light District

God’s presence and speaking to me during my prayer walk through the Red Light District

God revealing his gift and purpose in calling me away from college softball

Humbling me big time in Bulgaria as I confessed sin, but carrying me through with His presence and grace

Riding in the back of our host’s truck everyday with our Cambodian students on the way to school

Our Cambodian neighbors accepting Jesus!
- A mouse in a my bed and the fan breaking in Cambodia (ended up tenting that month underneath the Cambodian stars and taught me to be thankful for the things that don’t seem possible to be thankful for)

Being in a funk in Romania but choosing to worship and praise Him in the midst of not feeling it (set the tone for perseverance on the Race)

The Holy Spirit moving in the hearts of our teacher friends during our teacher appreciation night in Thailand
