I have a confession.

I have been wanting to post a blog for weeks now but I am having a hard time putting words to everything I am feeling and going through, personally and as a leader.

So my confession is… I made a video, and I am posting it in actuality to buy me more time before I have to sit down and collect my thoughts enough to make sense of where I am. I was going to make a video either way but my plan was to post the video after I wrote a blog.

This video is silly and I love it because it is a reminder that even though I left a season that was rich and full of joy in Sheridan, God comforted me and gave me co-leaders that offer me the same joy in life that I feared missing out on when I left home. I love them and we laugh together, worship together, and build each other up in feedback. We also “get caught up in the swirl.” If you want to know what that means… push play below! : ) Launch was a week before we actually left in Atlanta of training for the leaders, then the whole squad came and did more training.

I will update you all very soon. Until then, rest assured that our contact here in El Salvador is amazing and I am also getting buff from manual labor. This month is cut short since we left January 10th so on February 1st, we will be going to Guatemala. First our squad will have a debrief about the first month and then we will go to our ministry site for the month.
