Saying “Adios” to the snow and many other things I love today.
Everything is becoming a little bit more real now. Too many emotions and thoughts and feelings running around in my heart and mind right now, I don’t even know how to express. There are many things that I wanted to do and people that I wanted to see that I didn’t get to. There are so many things I’m excited about or fear still.
As I get swept away into this new journey I really just want to make sure that everyone at home knows how grateful I am for them and how much I love them and will miss them very much. I may not be able to communicate very often, in many ways I will need to leave home at home so I can focus on the present. So I apologize for any lack of communication on my part, and I don’t want you to feel unappreciated or unloved in any way. I will update this blog as often as I can in reflection of what my team and I are experiencing and doing.
I’m currently in Atlanta, and will be here for some training until my squad and I leave for El Salvador on Saturday. My team and I (team Rayos: Ashley(our fearless leader) Mel Jo, Missy, Amanda, Kelly, and Dani) will be spending the time in El Salvador praying, searching for, and seeking for ministry contacts for future Racers and ministry.
Please, Please continue to pray for my team and I! When communication is limited, I am so so thankful to know a God that can hear my requests and you requests- the great interceder.
If you would like to communicate with me, I will be able to check my email if internet is available, and that would be the best way.
Otherwise, have a very blessed 2015! And thank you so so much for all your love, support, and encouragement in my life, and for this trip!
