Back in September, I began thinking that it might be nice to plan a little 2015 retreat. I went online to look up a conference that might be good. When looking at Bethel Church’s website, at the time, had no conferences listed online.

What they did have was a trip to Israel, May 10-25.

“Well, that looks interesting… I might like to do that.”

The idea grew on me more and more.

“I think I need to do that.”

Then my team arrived in our next country, El Salvador, for the month of October. We stayed in San Salvador for a few days.

And who did I meet upon arriving at our hostel? A nice man from…

yes, Israel.

I’ve never met anyone directly from Israel before.

After training, we headed to a place called Gotera to find contacts for AIM.

And what was our first and only contact that we found there?

A Jewish Temple-turned-Baptist Church. Menorahs and Stars of David all over the place.

After a few days there, we felt led to come back to San Salvador.

And what was the first contact we made upon our return?

Tabernaculo Bibilco Bautista, Amigos de Israel.

Yep, Friends of Israel.

They were very generous to us at that church, feeding us, reserving seats for us at church. They had these fun t-shirts that used popular logos. For example, Toy Story logo became “Toy Feliz,” Sprite logo became Spirit. Lifesaver logo, of course, was about Jesus being my lifesaver. And the church pulled a bunch of different shirts to give us as gifts.

What shirt was I given?

Then I get to the end of the World Race, and I’m at final debrief in Antigua Guatemala.

My teammate, Karen, walks into our room and asks…

“Does anyone here want to take Hebrew lessons with me?”

That’s right. I took Hebrew lessons in Spanish-speaking Guatemala.

And so…. all of that to tell you that I’ll be heading to Israel for 2 weeks in May.

The purpose of the trip is to display the Life-Giving Love of God that brings Heaven to earth in Israel. We will:

• Build relationships within our team and in Israel as we live Kingdom Culture together;

• Worship and Pray onsite with insight to release His Goodness;

• Learn from seasoned Israeli Master Guide who loves the Lord and His Word;

• Scripture will come alive as we experience the culture of the Bible;

• Hear testimonies from current heroes of the faith living in Israel today;

• Deepen our walk with God as we experience His Presence in Israel.

I’m growing more and more excited for this trip. God has been miraculously opening doors for me to go with this group. And I believe He has some Divine Appointments waiting there.

I would love it if you would be willing to intercede for me while I am on this trip.

It will cost me $4375 to go, all of which has a deadline by February 28. If you feel led to give toward the Kingdom venture, you can donate at https://trips.ibethel.org/transactions/new/8381. That amount does not include my plane ticket, which I will purchase independently, and will cost approximately $1000. If you would like to send money to me personally for this or perhaps have flyer miles you wish to donate, please email me at [email protected]

Thank you so much for all your love and support.
