“If grace is an ocean, we’re all sinking.”
I’m in a world…
-
where I live in a tent and wash my clothes by hand in a bucket.
-
where we eat traditional Dominican food, like sausage stew poured over bananas that have been boiled in water. Other meals include spaghetti with rice and beans, fried cheese with yucca, fried cheese with rice and corn. I’m a fan of fried cheese – definitely learned how to cook it.

-
where people take their 300 lbs. pig for walks on a leash.
-
where honking is not considered rude, but rather is a means of communicating what your vehicle is doing on a road where laws are more like suggestions.
-
where there are caves to enjoy just minutes down the river.
-
where I take showers in a waterfall.

-
where I feel so strongly that every street is drenched in the grace of God.
I feel enveloped by grace, sinking in grace, overwhelmed by grace.
And I think to myself, what a wonderful world!
