Mentally prepare for the unexspected. The devil likes to bring up your past and discourage you. I didn’t know if I was making it to training camp, but I started praying and all I could think about was if God wants me on this Race then I will get to camp.
If He wants me on this Race I will get fully funded. If He wants me on this Race He will provide for me. I asked God for some kind of sign or a confermation that I would be going to training camp.
The next morning I picked up my devotional (Jesus Calling) and began to read today’s devotional and it said “The path I have called you to travel is exquisitly right for you.” That was my confirmation! In that same day I got an email from my supervisor saying I have been accepted into camp. God is good all the time!
Im excited and scared at the same time for training camp, but I know I’ll come out more and more excited for these next 9 months on the mission field.
