11 things I’ve learned so far
1/2 way there!
1. We have become celebrities for being white. I’ve been stared at, signed autographs, and taken pictures with people.. all because I look different.
2. El Salvador smells like exhaust fumes,
Honduras has a serious struggle with gang activity,
Nicaragua is my favorite place so far.
Thailand is colorful,
Cambodia has the worst traffic imaginable and is the ministry I’ve become most attached to,
Malaysia has 3 different cultures stuffed into one (Chinese, Indian, and Malay).
3. Alone time on the Race means head phones in your ears and blanket over your head…basically it does not exist.. (along with the nonexistence of reliable internet).
4. The world loves 7-11s and KFCs.
5. Cambodian men hold hands like it ain’t no thang, just friends!
6. I actually prefer squatty-potties to sit-down American toilets.
7. I am strong.
8. Adventure makes you appreciate routine, and routine makes you appreciate adventure.
9. God is super-natural. There is a spiritual realm, whether we acknowledge it or not. Prayer is powerful.
Finally, be strong in the Lord and in his mighty power…. For our struggle is not against flesh and blood, but against the rulers, against the authorities,against the powersof this dark world and against the spiritual forces of evil in the heavenly realms. Eph 6:10
10. God’s church is in pieces. I don’t know what it’s all supposed to look like, but now I know I care.
I want to know the Truth.
11. This has been the most challenging 5.5 months of my life to this point, and
the growth, experience, love, and knowledge
I have gained has been worth every tough day.
How much joy does God give?.. As much as you let Him!
My reflection as of lately:

And now, the moment I’ve been avoiding for the past 2 months…..MY FINAL DEADLINE is approaching. Thank you to every heart that has provided for me these past few months and allowed me this opportunity to serve and grow.
I need $1400 by July 1st to meet my last deadline and be fully funded for my final 5 months.
