I left on Monday at 1:18 to start my pilgrimage; well really, it isn’t the start but a continuation of one. It all still seems very surreal to me-I’ve been sitting on planes for the last 30 plus hours, in a time warp of sorts. Right now it is Wednesday at 7am-my body is telling me it is Tuesday at 7pm. I will be in the Philippines by 10am.
It is hard to believe that I am in China right now-I wish I could go and explore the beautiful mountains that are outside (with extremely tall sky scrapers in front of them). I had been sitting on the plane and thought of many things to write off, but now I can think of nothing. I am tired, and tired of flying. But I am also very excited to see what this year will bring. I would appreciate your continued prayers with my health and energy. I can’t wait to talk to you all again, and hopefully I will have something more exciting to talk about. I would post a picture but I don’t’ have my camera cord (I brought a card reader that I could have sworn I used with this camera before, but it doesn’t work so I’ll have to figure it out later.
Thanks again for all of your support, both financially and through prayers. I am down to needing $2000! Praise God. Again, this doesn’t seem real-it seems like I should be coming home in a week (boy, would my mom like that!).
