Who am I? That is a good question, and one that I am still trying to understand! I have lived in Michigan most of my life, although I was born in Saskatoon, Saskatchewan(yes, I am part canuck). I have a great family who has always provided me with support and love. They have provided me with the foundation of who I am today. My friends are the most important thing to me; I’m not sure what I would do without them. I’m biased of course, but I have the best friends anyone could ask for. We laugh together, cry together, provide support and advice-boy, do I love them!

I am a pretty simple person, yet I have an adventurous spirit. On most days you can find me at a local coffee shop (Rublev’s) just hanging out with friends (talking about everything under the sun). Really, coffee shops are the essence of what I believe life should be about-community. A group of people come and talk with one another, whether you know a person or not. They’re about taking a few minutes (or hours) and getting into one another’s lives.

I have quite diverse interesting including scuba diving, horseback riding, fencing, rock climbing, reading, etc. I am willing to try most things once, unless there is a high chance it will kill me!

I am still trying to figure out what God wants me to do in life. I have a degree in biology and outdoor recreation. It looks like this summer I will be teaching environmental science and if I’m lucky, I will be a keeper at a local zoo. Long term, I do not know where I am heading. Only God knows where this pilgrimage will lead.
