Miracles are real! I’ve been blessed to not only witness the healing power of God in others, but also in my own body. Throughout my life the Lord has healed me from various sicknesses and pains: fevers, cramps, headaches, etc, But something happened this spring that blew my mind and humbled me greatly.
God healed my eyes!
Now let me take you back a little bit…
I’ve worn either glasses or contacts since I was probably 7 or 8 years old. I always had generally clear vision, but without aid, I would experience excruciating headaches and my eyes would move in and out of focus.
Last November, I started praying that God would heal my eyes before the World Race. Because 1) I didn’t want to deal with glasses or contacts on the Race and 2) because I believed He could and would heal me. After a few weeks I began to lose hope. No improvement became evident and I started to feel silly. So I stopped. I stopped praying. I stopped hoping.
Then June came around. While spending time with God, He reminded me of my request and showed me that I had lost trust in Him. He showed me how I thought that maybe my issues of headaches and blurry vision weren’t as important as those of a blind man or a cancer patient. I thought I wasn’t worth being healed. WOW! The truth shook my beliefs.
With a new passion, I sought the Lord and cried out for healing.

Today, August 1st, 2017…. I’ve never put them back on
God healed me! He did what He said he would. It took me a while to start telling people I experienced a miracle. It felt almost taboo to talk about it. But I know now that those fears came from the devil who seeks only to stifle the healing power of God and the testimony of His people.
Not only did God heal my eyes before the World Race, but He healed me before Training Camp too.
God did this for me and He can and will do this for you.
