Wingapo friends!
This month, the entire squad is in Bacolod, Philippines. The wild flowers have joined another team and are doing ministry at STI school/university. As a Christian campus, we get to go speak to students in and out of class about life, our testimonies, sports, and how the Lord has redeemed us. We’ve spent the month making friends with the students and teachers here.
This next week we will be hosting an all day event (three different days for three different groups) on campus. We will do worship, games, creative prayer, testimonies, dramas, gender and identity discussions, and a lot of singing. Each day is supposed to be somewhere between 500-1000+ students.
Additionally, we are to be hosting a large cultural event at the end of the week where the entire squad preforms traditional Filipino dances (shout out to the wonderful friends and teachers at First Sunshine Baptist Church), dramas, testimonies, and sharing the Gospel. It will be a busy and fun close out of our time in Asia.
