This month team Prism is hanging out at Friendship Camp in Sistarovat, Romania. We are helping get camp ready for Camp Season. The eight of us are doing everything from brush clearing, painting, wood staining, obstacle course building, plastering, weeding, and (of course) cleaning.
The great part about being at Friendship Camp is less than a week ago I was telling my little sister that the thing I missed most about home was working at Camp Glisson. This time last year, I was working as a gap counselor, also prepping camp for campers.
Working to get camp in camper-ready condition is an all day long job for us, but it is one of my favorite ministries yet. It has been wonderful to pray over the camp and to spend time with teammates as we clean bird poop off of really impressive places.
This month, we will be leaving Sistarovat a bit early as most of us have parents coming to join us in ministry. We will be finishing out the month in a different part of the country. Please keep praying for us as we finish up our last week and a half in Sistarovat and prepare to move again.
