Wingapo friends!
I wanted to take a quick moment to introduce my team to you.  One this amazing journey, I will be joining 30+ young adults as we travel across the world doing missions (37?).  All of us will be going to the same countries at the same time, but we may not always be in the same place once we get to those countries.  Sometime we will, but more often than not it’s hard to find housing and jobs for 30+ people in one place.  In these cases we divide up into teams of 5-7 people.  These are the small groups that we will be living eating, working, exploring, worshiping, celebrating, and mourning with.  Each team was prayerfully put together.  My team consists of six amazing women:  Ruby, Amy, Ashlyn, Jac, Abby, and myself.  God’s hand is incredibly apparent in the formation of this group.  Already this group has been such a wonderful blessing and the answer to prayers.
One of the first things we did as a group was get coffee.  Over coffee, on of our lovely members shared that while praying over the group, God had shown her a field of wildflowers.  As she looked at them, she saw how beautiful they were, but also how tough and enduring the delicate looking plants were.  The name Wildflowers just seemed natural.
Please be in prayer for these wonderful women as they enjoy this time at home and finish preparations for departure.  If you would like to know more about them (because they are wonderful) their blogs will be linked below.  Have a wonderful day.
