Hey everyone – I’m happy to report that we all made it back to Mostar safe and sound.  Camp in Croatia was a blast. But, rather than bore you with details, I’ll give you some quick thoughts, then let you enjoy the pictures for yourself.

Camp in Review – The Best and Worst, According to Katherine:

Top 5:

1.  Living on an island in the beautiful Adriatic Sea.  (That was easy!)

2.  Morning aerobic with Marko.  (Why don’t I have a picture of this?)

3.  Teaching my dance class.  (I can now count to eight in Croatian!)

4.  Hanging out with new friends with names like Kiki, Dutch, Dado, Boba, and Dino.
(Everyone should have a friend named Dino.)

5.  Loving the kids.  (And better yet, them loving me back.)

Bottom 5:

1.  Mysterious itchy rash we all developed. (Bug bites? Allergies? Who knows!)

2.  Exhaustion (Didn’t see this one coming…).

3.  Language barrier (Sometimes counting to eight just isn’t enough).

4.  Being forced to eat French fries and hot dogs without ketchup. (The other camp had ketchup. Dude, that’s just wrong.)

5.  The popularity and prevalence of Speedos in Europe. (No explanation necessary, I hope.)

Yes, this brand new sign really is as helpful as it appears, directing hopeful swimmers to the pool visible only fifty feet away.
